i'm not crazy abt teeth. i just happen to have the urge to make a drawing of 16 (aka upper first molar).. the occlusal view.. i think the fellow dent students will know we need to know how to draw all 32 teeth, not in this fancy, artistic way, but to capture all the details.. so, since i'm free and have nothing better to do, i think this'll be a good way of killing time n revising..
i was msn-ing my sis.. i can't believe that she's actually in 3 rd year now.. so fast.. n i had only finished a 1/4 of my second year.. but anyway, back to her. today is her first day of sch after a ridiculously short break after exam, and she had to start seeing pt.. but b4 that she need to screen (which is to select) pt for her clinic session. so my mum was there to be screened..
not surprising, she has got periodontitis. the pocket depth on her 41(aka lower right front tooth) is 6mm.. why not surprising?? actually she has been saying that tooth got problems and causes pain.. but the "TWO, good, dentist-to-be daughters" can't do (or didn't) do anything to solve her problems.. anyway, she can only be treated by my sis a few months later because she needs to start with easier cases like patients with gingivitis. so for today, she did polishing for my mum.. n then she discovered there are a lot of food stuck in my mum's mouth.. and she tried to remove them.. (not trying to embarrass my mum, but i think me and my sis like digging n removing these things from pple's mouth)..
it's good that my sis will get relatives and friends to be her patient. it's not as stressful dealing with someone we know.. poor me, going to see pt in the later part of the year, but i don't have a single family member here.. i think i will be so gan jiong (panic) when i see my pt.. but i'll pretend to be confident ba.. n like what me n my sis pointed out, everything, including professionalism, comes with practice n time..
